have loved ones in Adult Daycare, Assisted Living or Nursing home care on the
possibility of
VA Pension Benefits
An educational workshop
titled ÒThe VA Improved Pension BenefitÓ is being sponsored by Sunbelt Wealth
Management Consultants in conjunction with Government Benefits Analysts, Inc.
(a means testing company) to inform family members of possible financial help
for veterans of foreign wars and their widowed spouses on March 25 from 5:30 to 6:45 PM @ the Ridgeland branch of the
Madison county Library and on March
29 from 6 to 7:30 PM @ the Flowood branch of the Rankin county Library.
Although the benefit has
been around since 1951, it is little known and under-utilized by veterans and
their families.
Questions to be answered during
this workshop include:
- Who is eligible.
- What type of care is required?
- Do I have to be disabled?
- How do I apply?
- Are there restrictions on eligibility?
- What is this benefit worth?
